The inside of Cibone almost looks like a well-decorated house -- that is 10-times more spacious than the Japanese average.
Cibone specializes in furniture and housewares from the top names in the design world, but also carries a healthy and carefully selected collection of art and design-related media.
Masaki Yokokawa -- one of the guiding forces behind the city's annual DesignTide event -- brought this "life editorial" shop to life. During November's Tokyo Design Week, Cibone always throws an essential exhibition and a great party in the store.
The Souvenir From Tokyo gift shop inside Tokyo's National Art Center is also produced by Cibone and offers one of the best selections of design-friendly gift ideas and souvenirs -- outside of the main Aoyama shop, of course.
