Aussie filmmakers team with Strongbow to make the most beautiful surf short this year

If you were hanging out at Bondi Beach this week, you may have thought the "Tron" franchise had come to town.

Surfers in glowing wetsuits atop neon boards took to the waves on “summer’s eve" (November 30) to ring in the new season.

The eye-catching event was sponsored by Strongbow cider, which teamed with renowned surfing filmmaker Jack McCoy, his team Bali Strickland, and Eugene Tan to capture the footage.

In this wildly entertaining short film shot at Bondi Beach, 17 surfers decked out in glow suits riding boards with glow-in-the-dark lining ride the waves from late evening until sunrise.

Around 200 guests got an exclusive view from the Strongbow beachside party at Bondi Icebergs.
