Phua Chu Kang goes 'boomz' across the border

Given that his well-known catchphrase is "Best in Singapore, JB, and some say Batam," it's no real surprise that Singapore's favorite yellow-booted contractor Mr. Phua Chu Kang (a k a PCK) is uprooting his business and moving it across the border to Malaysia.

After eight seasons of Phua Chu Kang Pte Ltd, the family sitcom changes its name to Phua Chu Kang Sdn Bhd (Sendirian Berhad) and takes on a new cast of Malaysian actors, who will play PCK's friends and enemies. To publicize the shift, the funky-haired contractor, played to perfection by Singapore comedian Gurmit Singh, does a series of teaser interviews in the manner of our favorite ex-beauty queen, Ris Low.
