Immfusion: North African cool

Immfusion oozes style from a rather pedestrian stretch of Sukhumvit Road, Bangkok’s main drag. It’s far from the pricey riverfront resorts or downtown glass-tower hotels -- and considerably cheaper.

Immfusion’s atmosphere is vaguely North African, with pastel cushions piled into the lobby’s corners and (decoration only) hookahs worked into the lounge decor. Don’t expect a scenic window view from the simple “superior” rooms, but they’re still worth the price.

The BTS Skytrain is close by, putting guests 10 minutes from Bangkok’s glitzy shopping district. The neighborhood outside is fun to explore if you've never experienced the bustle of everyday Bangkok.
