When it comes to live music, Brown Sugar stands out in an otherwise unremarkable city. This small two-story pub near Lumpini Park, open since 1985, features the talented Brown Sugar Jazz Band every night of the week except Sunday.
Those who like to hear the screech of the trumpets in full force are in luck. There are several tables on the ground floor, right in front of the band. The seats outside are great for people watching on Friday and Saturday nights, when the sidewalk along Sarasin Road is crowded with drunk foot traffic.
Brown Sugar serves simple pub fare, such as burgers and fries.
