Boeing has added two new Asian stops to its ongoing 787 Dream Tour. The famed Dreamliner will now hit Bangkok and Singapore in February.

Here's the schedule:

Feb. 9-11: In Bangkok to visit Thai Airways International.

Feb. 11-18: In Singapore to visit Singapore Airlines. Will also be on display at the Singapore Airshow.

Dates and locations of additional tour stops will be announced approximately one month in advance, according to Boeing.

Why all the fuss?

Boeing is putting its big new baby on show to woo buyers. And for good reason. The 787 is one of the most advanced passenger airplanes to be launched in recent years.

The aircraft is 60 percent less noisy than other planes of its size and capability. Innovative engineering allows it to use less fuel than competitors and emit less nitrogen dioxide.

It's also the only mid-size plane that can fly long-range routes, according to Boeing.

Features inside the airplane include larger windows, which are equipped with an electrochromic dimming system, allowing passengers to turn windows from fully transparent to completely dimmed.

There's also an LED lighting system that can reportedly affect passengers' moods by changing the colors and quality of light inside of the cabin.
