Share your 'Fave Thai Food' and meet the U.S. ambassador
Now enroute to her new post in Bangkok, social media loving foodie Kristie Kenney asks locals to share their favorite dishes on Facebook
Incoming United States ambassador to Thailand Kristie Kenney has launched an online “Fave Thai Food” contest, part of the U.S. Embassy’s efforts to introduce her to the locals.
Thailand residents are asked to list their favorite Thai dish and where to find it on the U.S. Embassy Facebook page for the contest. The top three entries that get the most “likes” will get to meet Kenney in person.
The former ambassador to Ecuador and the Philippines is due to arrive in Bangkok this Friday but has already gained fans here thanks to her social media savvy and evident love of Twitter.
